For those with emotions invested in the Grand Final complete the following sentence.

It is wrong to say I am more nervous about the game than I was about the birth of my daughter a mere four days ago? It is actually true although the joy will be, lets say, on a par!

CFC 1979

Yes, it is a little wrong :)

But are so are a lot of good things

Have any of you guys thought just for a moment that you just MIGHT be taking this a little TOO seriously.
Anyway, good luck. I think Collingwood will win, I just hope it's not a blow out and keeps everyone interested till the final siren.
A repeat of last year? Or is that asking to much?
I'm in Kerang with my son and he's invited a few friends over to watch it (no Collingwood supporters amongst them).
The weather here is warm and sunny, plenty of beer in the fridge, congenial company and the barbee is ready. Bring it ON.

Lets go around next time boys :)

Surprisingly upbeat

CFC 1979

wont matter ossie -you will loose

Pies should have been 10 goals up at half time

EL TIGER

An indigenous tribal elder made front page headlines when he "pointed the bone" and placed a curse on the Magpies. People thought it was a bit of a joke, even though the elder was deadly serious and not the crackpot that many believed.

And from that moment, things just fell apart for Collingwood. Their season unravelled. They lost their next six games in a row. The Magpies tumbled from the top 4 to the bottom 4 (4th to 12th) and the football world rejoiced in their misery.

They went on to lose 2 premierships in a row against a dominant Brisbane, and more recently a draw against St Kilda... Collingwood officials are discussing the possibility of removing the phrase "all the premierships are cake walk" from the club theme song. A suitable replacement might be something to the tune of "all the premierships go bye bye for the good old Collingwooooood"...

May the best team win next week, seriously!

And El Tiger, well, Richmond supporters shouldn't be throwing the first stone :)

EL TIGER

True that ozzie...

Trust Collingwood to keep themselves in the papers another week. It's not enough that we had to suffer all last week. Sheeeesh
