Who's Better? Judd or Goodes?

Hey Guys, I'm just in this fight with a friend of mine who goes for Sydney. He thinks Goodes is better, and I keep telling him over and over that he isn't, and that Judd is way better. Help me prove him wrong, please post your opinions.

goodes is a greta player but judd is easily the beter play of the 2, in my opinion it is between judd and carey as the greatest player i have seen in the last 2 decades. You might get a bit of a biased respone posting in the sydney forum though

Tell your friend, that, while Goodes is an amazing player, I respect him and the way he has developed from being a ruckman to a midfiled/forward. But, there is no way he is better than Judd.
Having not seen Carey, and not the best of Buckley, Voss or Hird, Judd is the best player I have ever seen.

While Goodes does lift his team, not as often as Judd. Also, his lows are far lower than Judds, coupled with Goodes' inability to play well the first 11 weeks of the season.

Judd just has the capability to lift his team to a higher level and doesn't go missing during matches

Judd is the better player.

But I'd argue that Goodes is a more valuable player structure wise

i agree with ossie, judd is a better leader, where as goodes is good for structure in that he is versatile

it is like comparing a shark with a laser on its head and chuck norris, both are awesome!

Judd is just so much better, the way he can lift his team and win them the game and whenever he is shut out of the game (rarely happens) Carlton suffer dearly. Whereas Goodes hardly did anything for the first half of the year but the Swans coped without him.

Goodes plays by mentality, Judd doesn't. He always seems up for whatever the opposition throws at him.

If you want biased here it is...
Goodes is much more versatile and any coach would want him in his team coz he can play almost any position (never seen him play fullback...).

But Judd is just better at what he does. Awesome player.

Judd? The best player you have ever seen in the last 2 decades? Are you absolutely bat shower crazy? I could go through a list of players whom would seriously contend, if not exceed him on that list.

But yes, he is a great player, by both achievements and ability, better than Goodes.
