That is unlucky reesbr. Lucky Ronaldo wanted to join the Roar. I guess he knew a champion side when he saw it :P
Ronaldo will be making his debut tonight against the Jets :)

Brisbane Roar do the double and clinch the league title with a 4-1 win over bottom placed Newcastle Jets. Cristiano Ronaldo on debut was man of the match with 2 goals. Tevez and Robinho scored the other 2 goals. The title was claimed after Adelaide went down 4-1 to Gold Coast, leaving me 4 points clear with 1 game to go. Might play my reserve players in that game to make sure I don't get any long term injuries before the new season starts :)

Since the Messi -> Victory saga has fallen over Steven Gerrard has joined to give the club more experience and class.

Fabregas and Gerrard in the centre of midfield 8)
