Can you make transfers from other clubs, not nessacerily from the same league?
Also are they default matches that the site runs? Do you follow it or is it clik*result?
And is Hilly talking about Nilmar in the club of Villarreal or Jets? transfer?
And how are the player ratings? similiar to fifa games? What are they based on?

Sorry luigi BS just took over the only team with out a manager. And now to answer your questions.

1. Yes you can make transfers with any club in the world, they don't have to be in your league. Which is why even though this is the a league we are buying players from Europe.
2. Not really sure what you mean by this question? You are in a league and scheduled to play 2 matches a week against the others in the league
3. Yes Hilly is talking about Nilmar who plays in real life for Villareal. But in the game Hilly bought him so now he plays for Newcastle Jets
4. Ratings tend to be pretty accurate in my opinion. Unlike Fifa where they have lots of attributes such as dribble, tackle, long shots etc, soccer manger just has one combined rating for each player. For example Messi and Ronaldo are both the highest rated with a rating of 98. Ratings are based on their current real life form and every now and again the leagues get reviewed to see who should go up in rating and who should go down. E.g they just did the review of the EPL and Drogba who has not been playing well dropped from a rating of 96 to 95.

You can make transfers from any available players within the league or from external clubs. You can only make 3 trades with a team during 1 season.

There is a World Cup run every season but only Gold Members can participate and can coach a country. There are also friendlies but limited to the teams within the league.
Hilly bought Nilmar from Villarreal and is now at the Jets. CF has David Villa and others while I have Ibrahimovic, Xabi Alonso and Samuels (CF is Brisbane and I am Gold Coast).
The player ratings are based on their REAL LIFE performances over time. If they perform well, they will be more likely to go up depending on their current rating. If they are performing badly or aren't in a tough league (e.g Ronaldinho and Henry), their ratings will drop at different rates.

Nice to have you on board!! Now sure if there are any current teams but can get somebody else to check or you can check yourself once you made an account. The Title has the name of the League so can search it up when you are picking your club/league to join initially.

Not very long BS. Maybe a week or 2 before you took over, but for it to become unmanaged the previous manager had to not log in for a month...

so.. around 2 months?
cause my team was pretty bad when i started.. ive had to sell all the players as you told me to and its worked wonders.. increased my average rating from 76 to 86 :D

Hey CF I meant how do the matches work.
Is there a certain date when the match is played for the site and then you can check the result after a minute.
Like for example, if SuperCoach ran like this, instead of wating for the whole match 2 be played in real life, a minute or two after the match is scheduled you know the scores and how the players went??

Ok so i'm too late to join A-League? Never mind. I'll make an account when i take up my first club..

Ah right. Yeah for the a league the games are played on thursday mornings at 7am and sunday at 7am, but it sometimes takes a little while for the result to come in. So yeah you set your tactics before hand and then just wait really. I set them the night before and then when I wake up in the morning I check the result :)

Lost to Melbourne Victory 3-2 in a match where I won all the important stats. Had more possession (52%), more shots (28 to 13) and more shots on target (15 to 6) yet I still lose  >:(
Victory are already 5 points clear of everyone else and they haven't lost a game!
