Sorry Hilly but Kewell and Keirrason are up forward for me 8). I hope they don't play quitely as I set my team on very attacking ;).

Muller is getting a good rest before he comes in for the Cup game. 1 week it was Keirrason. Next it's Muller. If I make it to the final, Kewell will be playing there 8).

Heart vs Victory

The Battle For Melbourne

With Melbourne only having one soccer team in the A-League for a long time you would think that when a new Melbourne team named the Melbourne Heart came along they would get no support. Well how you are wrong.

The Victory are really struggling at the moment, they are sitting bottom of the ladder, with a lot of injuries and a lot of players who aren't fit. They only have 1 player in there squad who is not transfer banned, which is saying the have been very active on the Transfer Market but to this time to no prevail. Their main man/ Marquee player is sitting on the pine injured (Holman) and man how much do the Victory need there boy at the moment. Victory are in a lot of trouble and i can't see it getting any easier for them playing 3rd place Perth in their next game. It seems that Victory have taken a youth approach trading away all their experienced players for young kids, The jury on that is still out, but at the moment i can see which way they are swaying.

Heart on the other hand are sitting second, They have had a few transfers but not as many as Victory. Although Heart have had a lot of big signings in the Offseason and up until this date they have managed to sign, Neill, Schwarzer, Rivas, Henrique, Carney, Bresciano, El Zhar and possibly the biggest of them all Ronaldo. Ronaldo has been in absolutely amazing form since joining the Heart in the offseason, he is leading the league in Goals (tied with Bridges and Sturridge)., Leading the Man of the Matches with 4. up there in assists. The Heart manager Capt Cunners is just really impressed with his performances. With the Heart manager openly declaring there will be another big name coming to Heart in the coming days it can only go up for Heart.

How much longer can the Victory fans stand being at the bottom of the ladder, losing players through injury, seeing their biggest rivals climb up the ladder and sign big name players???

You would think the Victory manager would have to do something big and fast, because it is really not looking good for them.

Surely soon something must give in and Heart will become the Number 1 club in Melbourne. The vast majority of people in Melbourne barrack for the Victory but how long until this will change??

He's averaged a rating of 9 :o. This might get him back into the sights of the big teams :P. Keirra isn't that bad either averaging a 8.67 8). Next best is below 8 ;D.

Dissappointing loss to the Jets. Should had it in the bag but Bridges hattrick screwed me :(. Kewell and Keirra are at least a productive forward line. 4 goals each and 4 assists each ;D. Need to stop conceeding so many goals :'(. Back onto the bench for you Turnbull >:(.
