High scoring game against HP lost 4 - 2

And You had a 2 goal lead within the first 5 minutes ;D. Great game though. Alot of yellow cards to my side but well worth it to taste victory 8).

Good way to cap the day :D. Get a win in 3 of my 4 teams. Although I lost my unbeaten run at Almeria :'(.

The Round Round Up:

Sydney Vs Adelaide - Not much explanation here. A complete domination of Sydney by the hands of Adelaide. A 4-nil drubbing would have BP angry. Could lead to some players dropped due to Sydney now slumping to bottom of the ladder. This was made even a more dismal display with Wellbeck being sent of within minutes of kickoff. N'Gog started it off for Adelaide with 2 early goals which was double late in the game by Leckie and Thiago. It was a possession game in which Adelaide absolutely dominated and controlled the tempo of the game. Favalli named man of the match. The win did come with a hiccup for Adelaide. Dodd is expected out for the next 6 rounds.

Gold Coast Vs Victory - Finally a win for Gold Coast. After 1 loss and 2 draws a win comes in with a hattrick to Kewell. It was one sided first few minutes with Victory going ahead 2-nil up through Zozulya and Perez. AFter which Kewell and Keirrison combined for 4 goals. Kewell is now top of the goalscorer charts even though this is only his second game. Also his second man of the match which is making him quite a get. The game was fairly even, though Victory had aot more shots on goal. Turnbull turned in a good game between the posts. This game gave out many cards. 5 to be exact and 4 of them going to the Gold Coast!! Going to have a few players on edge if they continue this type of action.

Fury Vs Roar - A very likely lop-sided match turned into a cracker. Brisbane dominated possession and the shots taken. However, could not convert and had to settle with a draw with the valiant Fury lineup. Daal kicked off he scoring just after half time in a cracker of a goal. But was equaliser 30 minutes later by man of the match, Solorzano. 1 minute later lead to a Hughes red card and made the Fury work even harder. Both the Fury and Roar suffered an injury. Fury will be without Talay for up to 6 weeks with a Hernia. Roar will be missing young gun Pamic for a month who has twisted an ankle.

Pheonix Vs Glory - My pick for match of the round. Pheonix held possession but the Glory had more shots on goal. First half was fairly dull but after half time the game stepped up. Within 16 minutes the empty scoreline turned into 1-1 and the game was on. A Glory goal by Jullich was quickly cancelled out by a Cornejo stike a minute later. It took until the 87th minute of regulation time for Pheonix to steal the game with a late Ifill goal. The man of the match however was Lochhead, a defender for Wellington.

Heart Vs Jets - Although the Heart could of put on a clinic, they settled with a comfortable 1-nil draw. They easily won the possession throughout the game and maintaining the pace that was set. However, the Jets had 1 more shot them them. CC won't be happy with that. A 75th minute Ronaldo goal put them over the line. Took a while but they eventually got over by the man of the match who had a great game (rated 10). Not much else to say about the game. 1 card to Zadkovich and no injuries.
