HP's favourite player Leighton Baines has joined the Roar to provide some solid backup in defense and the left midfield spot. Has a rating of 89, but considering the season he has had wouldn't be surprised to see his rating increase to 90. He will attempt to lead the Brisbane Roar B Team to cup glory :)

ONE of my favourites :P. Van Buyten and Santa Cruz remain favourites of all time (well I haven't watched soccer for long :P).

2 all draw with Adelaide this morning. Was down 2 nil, but the players fought like the champions they are to salvage a draw. Stats were a little all over the place, I held more possession (59-41%), had less shots than Adelaide (24-32), but had more on target (17-15). Leaves me still 2 points behind Adelaide, with both teams still undefeated after 7 games!

Now to verse Adelaide again on Tuesday morning in the cup semi final. Hopefully my b team can show the a teamers how it is done!  :)

Lowest rating in my team is 84 and highest rating 89. 5 rate 86 or below and 6 rate 87 or above, so a nice consistent rating  8)

A dominant display by the Brisbane B team has seen them run away with a 4-1 win over Adelaide United in the Cup semi final. Scoring duties were shared around with Perez, Costa, Muniain and Baines all getting a goal apiece. Suarez scored a consolation goal for Adelaide. Adelaide's trick of playing 3 first teamers and subbing them off at half time for 3 other first teamers did not pay off as they were played off the park. Brisbane held more of the ball (57-43%), had more shots (29-20) and more on target (16-7).
We now meet Melbourne Victory in the Cup final next week at Wembley after they defeated Melbourne Heart 3 nil.
