AEPL Fantasy Game: Steals of the Draft

Just opened a thread for those who think they drafted a great player low in the draft.

Just to kick things off I reckon my pick 98 is Solomon Kalou was a steal. Pushed Anelka out of the starting line up this week and continued his goal scoring streak.

I reckon benjy's one of Luka Modric was a real steal as well.

Well considering Lampard plays in a different position to Kalou it wont make a difference to whether Kalou plays. Kalou will be first choice when the rest any of the front 3 in Malouda, Drogba, or Anelka, but should aslo play about 30 minutes all the other games. He is a quality player.

Don't really think I got any steals in the draft, but picked a pretty solid all round anyway

I would say Glen Johnson was a steal. But Rodagella would be a steal if he can find the form he was in last season. Same with Dunne 8).

I admit I didn't get many steals, but I think Malouda as Captain will win me a lot of games. The only player who can score higher then him consistently is Drogba, who Hawka has, but he gave away his first 3 picks, which made his team a lot weaker.

Just remember Q that Chelsea haven't come up against any teams of considerable quality yet. So far they have played against West Brom, Wigan, Stoke, West Ham, and Blackpool. They wont score as highly against better teams. Playing against Man City away from home this week so it will be interesting to see how they go then

Tevez in the second round was pretty insane.
