write us off at your peril ossie, we didnt lose that big to drop from 5th to 10th. What I hope is that this is the year we start beating collingwood again!!!

Weren't you South Melbourne the last time you beat the Pies? ;)

I think the Swans will be hanging around the 8 again. They will still maintain their pressure as always, plus Longmire will bring a few tweaks into their game style as well.

i think hanging around 8 but i have them inside it at around about 6

MTTY

I reckon 8th but could be anywhere from 6-11

SwanSational74

I reckon anywhere between 3rd and 7th.

i'd like to think the Bloods will make the 8 at least but no problem aiming for top 6 even though that (and possibly finals) might be an ask ...

ok, i'm pretty confident about the Swans making the 8 this year now with Malceksi, Kennelly, Bradshaw, etc, etc out - still travelling well.

Even though it's only been 3 games with 2 relatively close finishes it's been the quality of the finishing in the last quarter that has me excited.   :)

hopefully don't put the mocker on ...  :o

This week will be a massive test of where we are at. Havent beaten Geelong in the last 8 starts, thankfully it is at the SCG so that should help us out, if we can get over Geelong, would be a fantastic start to the season!

Poll reset.

With all eyes looking West at Blacktown, the weight of NSW expectation may just be released from the Bloods. Season 2012 reminds me a little of Port Power's entry to the comp and the resultant Crow response in '97. If Sydney lose to GWS first up then I foresee that the Swans will be a force again in the pointy end of the season.

Goodes is like a decent Shiraz, gets better with age. Longmire will be more the wiser for his year in the chair.

And the winner is...

Top 8 but we are not a top 4 side that's for sure.

the next tier (Jack, Hannebery, Rohan, etc) are not at the next level yet ... no standouts as to who will fill the void when Goodes, ROK, Bolton, etc retire ...

I think if the Swans win the right games they can make top 4

However they should be definitely be aiming for top 8 first

My Chumps

Got a strong enough unit to finish top 4 with some improvement from the boys, but it's just to congested up there with Collingwood, Geelong, Hawthorn, Carlton, WC and Freo.
6th place finish I'd be saying.
