AEPL Draft Game: Pre-Season Cup

Hi Guys.

For the AEPL Draft Game, I think we should have a just for fun Pre-Season Cup, which starts next weekend. Now, as it would it have to be a 3 week comp, we have 3 pathways.

1) 4 Games then the Semi Finals then the Grand Final, Knock Out, Pretty Basic. However, the Grand Final would have to be held in the First Week of the Actual Season, meaning the 2 teams would have to play 2 games.

2) A 2 week tournament, 4 games, the 2 teams that win by the most progress to the Final. This means that even though you win your match, there's a chance you don't move on.

3) No one plays anybody in the First Week, the 2 highest scoring teams move into the Final.

(Also, I'll make the fixtures if needed.)

Note: In the Pre-Season Cup, Games are played at one of the teams home ground, but no bonus points are awarded.

I like the first option. Simple.

An extra game in round 1 doesn't seem too bad.

Yeah option 1 seems the easiest. Doesn't really matter if you have to play 2 games in 1 round. It's not like they wouldn't play well in one match because they are tired!

I meant how many subs are allowed to come on the ground. There was some talk that we would only allow 1 or 2??
