I think it is quite pro-active of Essendon. They know how bad at travelling they are, so why bother showing up? ;)

I actually agree :) A lot of teams lose also after coming back from the West, so why play, if we were going to lose.

Best to put some rest into the legs for the upcoming game this week where we travel by Helicopter from Essendon Fields to Docklands. Let's hope there are no travel issues that night.

Think after last night the Dons can't win the flag, will be very tough to make the 4 from here for them, and the last couple of months have seen a loss to Melbourne, and smashings by finals contenders St. Kilda and Geelong.

Anyone disagree? A flag would have been premature anyway
