I don't expect to finish top 8 with the current bunch. Not a strong enough forward line to do so really.

+1 There is still a lot of development to be done. Give us a couiple of years.

Just using past history re Knights

Knights was fired because he didn't have a team, he used whoever he wanted. He never let some of our best players get consistent games, so wore thin. Houli left and Prismal never got going.

I would like to see how Hird goes and hope Thompson chimes in a little more than a bit as Hird needs all the help he can get first year in!!! Look at what happened with Voss with no experience.

 I`d expect Essendon to make Top 8 next year though. Many of your younger players would have gotten games and Hird/Bombers structure will be set.

well the might be improving on the track.. under Knights they might not have worked hard..

Neagles obviously done something to impress Hird theres improvement..

thats the sort of improvement im talking about.. not necessarily in matches but fitness

Mcveigh was awesome in the midfield playing that attacking role

when Knights played defencive players tagging and trying to get them to attack and get goals..

Neagle will be an experiment.. his obviously done something awesome to impress Hird i hope he does well this year..

Stanton apparantly is SUPER fit! which is awesome..!
