2010 Stats:
Games: 21
Total Score: 1906 (Ranked 58th overall, 43rd amongst midfielders)
Average Score: 90.76 (Ranked 75th overall, 51st amongst midfielders)
High: 155 (Round 14)
Low: 33 (Round 12)
Standard Deviation: 27.82
Centuries: 6 out of 21
Starting Price: $496,200
High Price: $496,200 (Round 1)
Lowest Price: $414,300 (Round 13)

Summary:
Just like Adelaide Thompson started the season very poorly, with the highest score from his first 6 games only 89. However when the crows got their first win against Richmond in round 7 he scored a respectable 112 points. Thompson was much better in the second half of the season, and in the last 9 rounds when Adelaide were doing well he averaged 104 points a game, with a low score of 81.

The Crystal Ball:

Based on last years magic number

Price: $482,000
Position: MID

Decision:
Thompson showed his quality and consistency during the second half of the season. With the retirees gone the crows will look even more to him for leadership and strength through the middle of the park. At that price he could be a little under priced, so for me I will be watching closely during the pre season to see how he goes. What are your thoughts?

I am going to take a pass on him, just can't seem to deal with the tag.

exactly same for me

Hmmm, if Vince plays more, will that help him out?

CrowsFan

You would think if vince starts playing well again they would tag him, which would free up thompson to score well

Fletch74

Surprised me that he had only 6 centuries... For that reason, he is will be a 50/50. It depends on how much the like of Vince and Danger assist, therefore improving his scores.

CrowsFan

The centuries he did get were all quite big. The smallest was 112. The problem was that he got 9 scores in the 80's. He is consistent but just needs to push those 80's up to 90's and 100's

So his form in DT seems to be linked to the teams form. Someone convince me that the Crows are going to be good in 2011?

Torress

i wouldn;t pick him in SC

DT a different matter tho. better options, he is a gun tho just not effective enough for me.

TOM15

could be a unique, will get plenty of midfield time with all adelaides veteran departures

He allready played plenty of midfield.
Apparently he cant deal with the tag ??? Not sure about that.
Hes an inside midfielder wholl average a handy score but nothing fantastic.  Tends to handball a bit also.  So an unlikely for me

MTTY

Could be a good unique to have and is shortlisted for me due to his consistency

ronl

I had him in 2009 and swore never again, hopeless if there's even the sniff of a tag in the air...
