Summary
Stanton also known as Stantman is a very inconsistant Drem Teamer depending on if he is getting tagged and where Matty Knights played him one week he could get 120 the next a 80. Now that knights is gone he should be considered especially if he is a MPP
Verdict
I would have to pass if he's in the mid but if he's a backman or forward that is a big tick for me, the question is will you

Hawka

Mite pick him if he is a mpp but i doubt it wont consider him from my middie tho

EAGLE4LIFE

same as me i really hope his MPP because he plays in all positions

McRooster

Coach selection will play a role in his selection, on the watchlist...

6 of those 9 100's were over 115  8)
When he scores, he scores big!

No for me but that could easily change depending on how a few things go.
Who will be Essendons new coach? If the new coach likes Stanton he may get a better role where he gets more of the ball or he may leave Windy Hill.
The other thing is MPP as others have said, with his inconsistency it would be hard to justify picking him in the midfield, but if he is available in the backline could be considered along with Gibbs and Lids.

SCADDICT

Why would he be MPP...he hasn't played forward or back seriously this year.

Alex7089

He played a fair bit on half back similar to Gibbs, just people don't realise because he runs off his man and looks like he is just forward of the play.
