Des Headland has retired.  Had some good moments but I think it is the right decision for Freo moving forward.

You wouldnt have thought so.  Only played like 20 games in the last 3 season - too many injuries.  Not sure that GC would want to take a risk on that.

Was never as good at freo as he was at brissie... Sad way for him to go.

Not a paricularly good player really, he is very lucky to have a Premiership medal but good luck to him, a good character.

Well, definitely the right choice for him and the club at this time.
He was a top bloke, and I wish him all the well for the future.
