13-14th. They don't have a terrible side this year and have no injuries. Well they had 3 injuries for the intra-trial games out of the whole side. There looking good with Bock up forward.

The Suns should be the Giants at Metricon this year.... and are a sneaky chance against the Roos this week.

.... But I can't see them bettering last year's 3 wins, and think they'll probably only win 1. Given they played the Giants twice this year, surely anything under 5 wins would have been seen as an immense failure.

Thoughts?

Ossie, I think the compeitition is a lot stronger than laqst year.

Also Gold Coast beat the Tigers in Cairns, which they would of not won if it was in Melbourne, beat Brisbane which was lucky and beat Port which they should of not.

So they were VERY lucky even win one game really and if GWS only beat GC this year, then they haven't accomplished anything really.

I don't believe that's an excuse, that means other teams have improved faster than the Suns.....

Anyway, I disagree. This year we have 3 teams that have won 2 matches between them. 2 from 32! And one of those was against each other. Really, it is 1 from 31 against top 15 teams. Crazy.

What's better GC winning three games or GWS winning one game?

GC, easy. Beat 3 seasoned AFL teams last year, none of them finals competitors in 2011, but still. Also I thought were really unlucky to finish last.

GWS have played competitively for 1 quarter, sometimes 2. The victory over the Suns was impressive (I was there), but the Suns can't be called seasoned.

smeh, we still have melbournex2, port and the suns again.

I doubt you'll beat Port Adelaide, who have improved greatly.

Melbourne's last 3 weeks against Carlton, Essendon and Collingwood have shown something also. Neither of those a guarantee...

Pencil in your first ever win at Metricon against the Giants though....
