I still reckon that they will surprise a few teams this year.

yeah they will shock some teams in the first half of the season and will no longer be taken lightly. Second half of season will drop off and miss the 8

Poll reset.

The honeymoon is over Gary, it's now time for the Suns to Shine.

Can they March up the ladder, can they, will they improve?

If we're being honest, probably not  :P

I'm sure the boffins at Fox can't wait for rnd7 - what a blockbuster  ::)

Ziplock

I think they can push for the 8. Doubt they'll make it though :P

6-8 wins is what they should be aiming for.... Top 8 is crazy talk ;)

Ziplock

I think this year the middle of the table will be incredibly close. I can see GC pushing on that middle section- maybe not good enough to make the 8, but possibly good enough to make a borderline top 8 team sweat when they play them :P

suns will improve alot 2012, with all the young talent they defently will continue on the up, think between 12-15th finish this year

I think they'll finish below Brisbane

therefore they're a chance to finish as high as 2nd.

TheMailman

I think aiming for anything above 10th is impractical and will not be successful

They should be aiming for wins and close games, not for ladder positions

Voldemort

They already have a plan. Keep giving kids games, and keep developing them. In another 4-5 years, they will be ready to strike

Ringo

Volde I can see them striking for the 8 in 2013 with another year of strength into their small bodies.  Also Remember thy also have a number of Priority Picks to be used over the next couple of years as a result of their trading last year which will fyrther strengthen their team.

HarryStar

As a Suns supporter, I don't predict a big improvement for 2012, mainly because we are still very raw with many of our kids still having played less than 10 matches. I see 2012 as another stepping stone for our younger players and a launching pad into the top 8 in 2013 and beyond.

bunyip

I agree. I don't know about the top 8 though. I think next season they will be looking to double their wins from last season. They may make the top 8 in 2013, It's a big ask though.

4th last above GSW, Port and that joke of a team Melbourne.
