Summary
Well a lot of people passed him up to avoid a rollercoaster ride this year only for Buddy to be one of the most consistent forwards of the year. Still not exactly consistent, but in a year where forwards suffered he did very well. Relies a bit on kicking goals to score points and is prone to suspension but when he is on the ground he can knock out huge scores.
Verdict
I will have a very good look at him averaged 99 this year with less than half of his games making the century. To me that is the stat that makes me put him on the short list. But nothing set in stone yet.
But, the real question is, are you picking Buddy in 2011?

i would love to start with him, however i think pav,brown and voldt are all underpriced wheras franklin is priced around what he is worth so i might try to pick him up mid season after he has a bad game and kicks no goals

only reason i am leaving him is because he is too often suspended and he is a bad influence on the younger boys in my team. i dont want D. Swallow getting the wrong idea about how to tackle

Well, who knows, the Riolis have a history of injury ruining potentially brilliant careers so again a factor. Cyril doesn't seem to bad though.
Also depends if Cyril looks like he will be getting midfield time.

keep in mind that cyril did a hammy in the hawks last game of the year vs freo so i think that is two hammies in tow years :/
