Its a bit like when we grow older, stronger, more independant we realise we can do things for ourselves without the hands on direction of our fathers. We see our fathers aren't as strong, tough, influential as they once were.
Voss faces this. His Pride of Lions are deserting as they now no longer see him as the Alpha male and move off to claim greater territory.
