Lock Goodes in  I reckon. There are a few players like him, Hayes and Boomer who are just ageless and won't let you down.

Goodes usually starts the season slow but I will still probably pick him because of the byes.

He's definitely going to be on the cards now...

Always end up with Goodes - great upgrade target ... tends to start VERY slowly though, and this has been a consistent trend for him the past 3 years so maybe not a starter ...

Agree - Slow starter but will bring it home, so is a prime upgrade target, although I am leaning towards starting him this year. If Bradshaw plays most of the year, expect Goodes to get a run round job floating between CHF and midfield, giving opposition coaches a matchup headache.

Alas for such a great long term Supercoach player he is now under the too old category to be a starter. Will look at him as an upgrade target after about round 15 if all is going well.

Definitely Right. Will take in Rnd 10-15 me thinks.

50/50 for me, if anything will be an upgrade target though

MajorLazer

Upgrade for me. Picked him over Chappy last season and it killed me. Finishes well though.

unlikely for me.   was very inconsistent this year.  if he's playing well i may upgrade to him.

Remember most of last season he played in the forward line, which is not his natural position. He killed it when unleashed into the midfield./

i had him for his ups and downs.  im not sure i can trust that he will go in his preferred position either.

Ud have to be crazy not to think about getting him.  Probally has one of the highest supercoaching potentials in the game for around 500k.
But as people have said it has alot to do with where he plays on the ground under a new coach.  If hes playing midfield and doing well hes definetly in my team otherwise he probally would be by the end of the season
