Summary

Lenny had a reasonable lean year by his standards averaging 15 per game less than 2009, but still was a fairly consistent performer amongst a St. Kilder midfield that probably wasn't as good as last year.

Interesting to note that Hayes averaged the same as 2009 in DT points (108). Is that a sign that he didn't win as much contested ball this year, or that his efficiency wasn't as good?

At this price Hayes will be a cheap premium, thus he wil be on my short list as I know he can definitely achieve better.

i got him on the short list but i doubt i'll get him considering i'm wanting Roo and goddard and having Joey as maybe an upgrade target through the year makes me think that squeezes out lenny

I agree Daz, reckon Lenny is someone to watch during the year.

Harsh that he didn't make the All-Aus team, but midfielders are very competitive

Those 3 are going to be very expensive... I agree that they are before Lenny, but this price may be just a little underpriced for Lenny. He has averaged over 115 three times since 2005, so you know he can score well.

yeah, may be a little old and perhaps his best is behind him, maybe will look at him if he becomes cheaper and if saints have played both their byes

Price is tempting but his age was the first thing to spring to my mind also.  The way this guy plays the game age will catch up pretty quick I think.  Will opt for Joey

I avoided Hayes this year due to age.

Might think about him otherwise could be a handy upgrade target later in the year.

Indeed there will thatguy! It will be where seasons will be made and lost.
He is on my shortlist especially at that price. We know he is a lot better than that.
Tough there will be a lot of options in the mids will be tough to choose.
A few line balls will be decided by bye's as well.

won't consider him, joey and nicky dal are in the firing lines for me and considering lenny is 30+ usually means scores etc drop. he is a gun but wont be top 10 SC scorers
