Summary:

Vince had his break out year in 2009, gaining an All-Australian nomination, Adelaide's best and fairest and averaging 97.8, and touted as a future leader of Adelaide. 2010 was a different story, struggling with form and injury, Vince never looked in solid form, scoring only 3 centuries for the year.

The Crystal Ball:

Based on last year's magic number

Price: $412,600
Position: MID

Vince averaged 20 less than last year. This would suggest he is underpriced. He finished the year with a MCL injury, and as always, will depend on his form in the preseason to see if he is fit. Surely you'd think Vince should improve on his 2010 output, but I'm uncertain if he can crack the 100 average.

Decision:

I've been burnt by mid-priced players like this before, so I'm going to have a pass, but wouldn't begrudge anyone taking a gamble!

HillHero13

he burned me at the start of the year..could be an adam coone of this year..

Fletch74

I think he will improve next year. Adelaide are bound to be a better side next year, and with some old timers gone, he should do well.

DazBurg

on the short list for that price but will watch his preseason to see how he goes first

Wilkopolis

He was in m draft SC team for 2010 for a long long time - squeezed out last minute to accomadate a 3/3 rookie/premium strategy.

Surely his (and Adelaide's) last season was an abnormality.  Should provide good value and might be tempting for those looking for a spread of midfielders from various teams

Maybe he is a mid pricer worth looking at. For me, he needs to have 1 more good season to prove it wasn't a fluke, so no for 2011, maybe 2012.

benjy251090

it is these types of players though that could make or break your team this year due to the bye so needing a little bit more expensive benchies

cox  ??? ???

you're not jumping the gun there are you?

Master Q

A bit strange to lock him in   ???

Alex7089

I think he is talking DT and Cox is much better at that. All strange players to have as locks at this stage sure consider them but ???

EAGLE4LIFE

i'll have to see how my mid goes but for dt though

sunny_side_down

i think vince is a lock for next year depending on two things, a full pre season and adelaide and the way they are travelling. if both fall in place which i believe they will, would be silly not to consider a guy who has the ability to average 100 sc for the season
