i thought the 1st round of the season was also the final the pre season cup??

Are you not allowed to trade during the season ??

No it's not. Round 1 commences on the 23/10. The Final of the Pre-season cup is the 16/10.

What I meant by trading before Rd 1 was that you could get your team right before then. You're allowed 2 trades per week, but they have to be like for like, and dropping someone off the list, with a replacement, counts as a trade also
