Will Mackie leave?

If Mackie doesn't make it back into Geelong side, will he asked to be traded?

Mackie would get a start in every other side, and would most likely get paid more.

Is he out of contract?

I don't know but I really doubt he would leave.

He has been at Geelong his whole career, they re-invented him as a player.
From what I hear down here he is happy. Might just be Bombers mind games.

Agree Alex, I think it's just Bombers mind games. He'll play against the Pies.

I doubt he would leave, but I don't think he's an automatic selection this week. He was pretty ordinary against the Saints. Lonergan may have done enough last week to keep him out.

Mackie didn't play and it proved costly. Of Course Lonergan staying in due to Cloke doign well against Taylor.

Mackie provides rebound and should be in the team next year. Lonergan has just been in great form in his reinvention.
