Drummond would be a great pick up like the rest of you guys said. Can let Dempsey and Lovett-Murray run on the wings. They have pace to burn and if we get a Good Half Back Flanker with a penetrating kick, it would be a big step in getting off the bottom ;).

Exactly HP. If Drummo was at the Bombers this year we would of done a lot better. It was our gameplan+kicking that made it all unravel.
Wit ha good kick our offensive gameplan would of worked a hell of a lot more...

Decent age as well. Only 28 next year, so hopefully he would play for at least 3 more years. The question is, are the bombers a chance for the flag(or top 4) in the next 3 years? Because isn't that what they'd be getting him for?

Essendon aren't a serious chance for the top 4 in the next years. No more than every other team anyway.

Seems like with Rischitelli, Brennan and now Sherman on the outer from the lions, Drummond looks to be close to signing a new deal with the lions.
