Josh Drummond is interested in playing for a melbourne team because money strapped Brisbane can't afford his asking price. Is he the right fit for the bombers? I think he could be. Already have some Key defensive players like Pears and Hooker, he could be a nice compliment to those players off the half back line.

I firmly believe Essendon should simply bring youngsters in. The grass isn't always greener! Be patient and rebuild. As good as Drummond is, he is injury prone

The problem is with GC coming in it is going to be very hard to just bring in new young guys. We would almost have to trade our list to GC for some picks.

drummond is a great player when fit but in saying that i don't want him at the club if we have to pay him to much...for example i don't wanna be paying him 650,000 a year or anything if he wants to much then no thanks...but if not to pricey would be alright..might let dempsey get released a little like to a wing of maybe even forward

Dempsey would be dangerous on a wing. He really needs to get out of the defensive position he doesn't know how to be a defender.

exactly thats why i say drummond would be good if he doesn't want to much he can play on the back flank instead of dempsey

Yeah I know what you are saying. I think if it is money he wants he would go to GC who have shown interest but I think he wants to come back to Victoria so he should accept a number south of that.

Josh would be perfect for the Bombers, he would Depsey as mentioned before, but he would also be a great with his penetrating kicks and help us stop the bloody handball rubbish (Hopefully new coach will do that too).

Lets just hope he doesn't want too much $$$
