He is a legend and yes. I have learned my lesson tho. If he gets any sort of injury what so ever, i'll be trading him out straight away.

Torress

one of the most feared guys in the comp. when u watch him he just has that much pressence; opponents are always mindful of him. but thats prob more due to him being massive as well!
ahh for me i won't start him. even if up and running he like goodes brings the bacon home after mid season break. likely upgrade target - superstar CHF of the comp

Maca24

hurt me this year. will have 2 be an upgrade target im afraid.

BROWNY!

Short list him cause hes a star.

Great scoring potential, just a bit injury prone and inconsistent, but he'll get over his groin... hopefully.

nas

If he's over the problems with the groin, he then steps up a notch to be shotlisted. IMO

LiveTheDream

Am almost certain to get him at some stage, especially now fevola is out of the picture. As soon as he is fit i'll be watching closely

MajorLazer

Will have to watch his NAB Cup form. Probably won't start with him, but may get him as an upgrade.

McRooster

Even his wife Kylie isn't confident of his immediate playing future, but if you want to get him I reckon you'd wanna start with him and soak up the points before he slows with soft tissue issues and begins 'just getting through the week' and the points disappear.

nas

Ahh the risks associated with Brownie, reckon the NAB will be no advantage as will hardly play. As said maybe from the start as per last year started well & then slowly tapered of till finally rested as could not play due to the injury.

tom_scully

Thought he was on a restricted program due to ongoing groin injuries. He may also break the no players over 30 rule.

JB0016

My favourite player of all time!

Will be an upgrade target for me this year...he is having a slow build up to season 2011, so he won't get going until about round 5 or so. Different approach to last year. So don't expect the high scores from him early.

When 100% fit, he can score very very high. But like all big forwards there score varies a bit depending if they are kicking bags or not.

And don't worry about him not getting the ball from the midfielders this year, he will still find the footy and do his bit, remember 2006/07, Lions weren't great then, but he was killing it in the games he played.

dylsta05

not quite sure 50/50, see what happens with fev!

[identical post to one in DT players & trades section on Browny]

I saw a Fox Sports report (from around 10 Jan 2011 - Chris Ford reporting) that was about Browny's concern for Fev but in it the indication was that he is unlikely to play any NAB cup games but is aiming to start Rd1.

He said he's coming along ok, just started running work after surgery and he's unlikely to have a major role in the pre-season games but his goal is for Rd1 kick-off (heavily paraphrased apologies)

TOM15

he had one bad year, all his others he was a foward line gun,

i reckon he could do something special this year
