Wat our list manager said--- Chris Pelchen says Hawthorn is a "long shot" to get Tarrant, with Collingwood clearly in the box seat. No interest in Thornton. Has asked after Hale.

All reports are that Grover hasn't re-signed yet.  All rumours over here lead to either a 1 year deal or retirement (depends if he thinks his body can handle another season).

I doubt he would take up a deal interstate seeing as he only has 1 or 2 left in him.

Hale is useless we don't need him I don't want him at Hawthorn. We need a decent ruckman not a washed up one

by the sounds of the hawks we have a new game plan which will see stars playin in diffrent postions apparnetly hale fits it nicely and he is a good back up fwd if buddy or roughy are injured

Doubt it. Has played there for a number of matches at the start of his career. Didn't fit.

Talk I have been hearing is playing Buddy much more up the ground. Apparently he will be focusing on building endurance over the pre-season.

Whatever happens.... why can't Skipper play this ruck/forward role that everyone is suggesting Hale will play? Rate him more highly than Hale.

It does seem strange going for Hale with the number of big men you have on your list already.

It seems bizarre to me. We have the second most listed ruckman in the AFL. A number are still in development but still 4 who have senior experience.

My guess is the Hawks aren't confident that Bailey will make it. Otherwise I can't see a need to go for Hale.
