I think we were the ones who were punched up all year.  We had a big injury list all year and I think it took its toll against a hard bodied, well oiled machine in the Cats.

Agree, and if you guys behave yourselves Valky, the AFL MIGHT actually let you play a few games at the MCG BEFORE the finals ;D

valkorum

That would be nice (hint of sarcasm)

Hawka

i hope freo get a game or 2 at the G nxt yr

Alex7089

Yeah tough to go out and play Geelong in a knockout final in your first ever game at the 'G.
A lot to ask.

Hawka

Every club should have atleast 2 games there in the H & a

And which club would you choose to lose money because of the low crowd?

Alex7089

AFL would never do that Hawka you need to have a decent supporter base in Melbourne to get a game there.
As it is they only got 40,000 in a final and I mean the average crowd in the H&A was 38,000.
Pretty much explains why they never go there...

bunyip

If they play at the dome they lose money anyway. They should consider playing interstate teams at Kardinia Park. With the new stand just finished, I think it can seat 30,000.
