At my old school we used to all get given a mac laptop so you would do all your work on that. But basically be on internet the whole time until the teacher comes up behind you and then you switch it to your work. It was great ;D

Easy fix if you have a bit of cash to burn. You can buy like a little vodafone pre-paid thing and take it to school, if you use that only YOU can block FF 8)

Still an idea for those that are really desperate.
My school hasn't blocked much, they aren't big fans of laptops but sort of forced into it due to every other good school in Geelong getting them :P

FTP would be free at our school cos it ends in .org but i usually just use proxys and go on wateva i feel like
