Champions League & Europa League Fantasy thread

I'd take a goalkeeper from a team that will cruise through the group stages and against piss easy teams. Barcelona, Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal( LOLmunia, maybe not ;)). AC Milan and Bayern both have terrible defences and I would stay away from them. Coentrao isn't a good pick because Benfica are in a tough group and they haven't been doing so good since their 2 best players left. If that's Xavi Hernandez, then thats good, Douglas Costa on the bench?

Not the best team as I went for players I knew ;D. 2 still in the bank.

MID: Gourcuff, Mata, Arshavin, Schweinsteiger
FWD: Huntelaar, Frei

Bench: Julio Cesar, Hugo Almeida, Diaby, David Luis

1.5 in the bank still. Agin don't know alot about the majority of the teams :-[.

No. All matches start 2.30am (perth time) and finish around 4.30. Games are on every 2 weeks. I got you up first Benji for h2h ;)

They would have finished about 6:30 EST, but SBS showed the Barcelona game after the Man Utd v Rangers game. I watched the first half of the Barcelona v Panathinaikos game and barcelona had 76% of possession in which Messi was on fire, and scored 2 goals, the second being an absolute stunner.

Barcelona had nearly 90% by the end of the first half ;). Messi 2 goals 2 assists. Could of easily had 6-7 by himself. Barcelona could of had 10+.

Squad was good enough. But the subs weren't. We didn't need 4 at the back in the final 15 minutes.
