I could pass on Ablett but with Swan would you get the Dane for consistency or Hodge...Because he doesn't play for Collingwood :P
I personally want Buddy over Cyril but if you didn't get Hodge or Burgoyne you could get Delicious. So is he (Rioli) better value than Hodge/Burgoyne?

That is the problem that is going through my head except for me it's "Is Buddy better than Hodge?"

I'm getting Cyril and if he's MPP, I'm getting Buddy as well. I'll also be getting both Swan and Hodge.

I will be going with Swan and Hodge, trying to work out who i can squeeze in between them and my three starting rookies.

Buddy is a lock for me. Havn't really considered Junior Boy yet. If he was assured to play a more midfield dominate role, then i would consider him for sure.

We pass on Hodge now and get Burgoyne + Buddy/Cyril and then upgrade to Hodge after the bye. Clever.

Still have the Buddy or Cyril problem though.
Unless Cyril is MPP in which case we could pass on Burgoyne and get Cyril + Buddy. Unless you wnt Burgoyne more than you want Cyril.

i may go with both even if cyril is just a fwd becos cyril will get middie time and buddy has had his first uninteprupted pre season and due to hale will get more middie time

Yeah I suppose but we would still only be able to pick them in the forward line and the bye would be an issue even with one very early (so the rookies we start with should still be playing) and 3 emergencies. Then with Hodge Burgoyne it would be a very bad week for your SC D:

Not going to consider Burgoyne is getting old and has injury problems.  But i really like him as a player and he did play well last year so could be a good buy for some
