Summary

After a breakout year in 2009 Jarrod Harbrow became a very frustrating player at times in 2010. With a change of defensive duties given to him in 2010, Harbrow lost most of his rebound defensive run that made him a much improved player in 2009. His scores this season indicate that he is damaging as a creative defender braking the ton five times including his career best performance against St Kilda in R6 which included 36 possessions.
Harbrow's efficiency in 2010 was quite poor which was indicated in Rd22 with 81 SC points were he had 31 possessions. Harbrow is almost certain to join Gold Coast in 2011 as an attacking defender, were his scores should improve again playing along side Bock & Krakouer. 

My Choice

After being so impressed with his defensive/rebound run in 2009, Harbrow was a lock in for me in 2010 but his poor efficiency and positional changes by Eade gave me great concern throughout the year. Harbrow is all but signed with the Gold Coast for 2011 and will be someone to look at pre-season, but only if he plays in that creative defensive role, if not i will stay clear from picking him in 2011

These (probable) Gold Coast players are very unpredictable.

Probably won't get him if he goes to GC, my team will probably have a few of their rookies

Thats what i also think Hawka, he was very impressive in that role, in my opinion Gilbee played more of that role this year, Harbrow somewhat tagged opposition small forwards from time to time.
