Wonder if he will get a discount for missing the last  8 games?

Don't think he will...

DazBurg

great to hear for him hope he comes back just as strong

Hawka

il pick him if he goes good in the nab

RyanV22

Saw him hobbling up the steps to receive his award, nearly brought a tear to my eye.  :(

do you really want to pay 450k + for a guy who has an injury that was predicted to take him out for 2 years. Unless he is pulling out 140+ scores in the NAB will i look at him.

chrisuzz

i was planning that he would start off the season slowly, the be one of my first upgrades

Hawka

holzman i meant as a upgrade later in the yr

Holz

if he has a good nab, then will likely start strong so wont come down in price

browny_wce

gotta remember that 2nd year curse aswell
will get the tag ahead of mundy
will have that leg tested in hard matches
if he drops a sh!tload he may be worth it
but too pricey n too risky atm
just will be great to see him back on the track, probly the only guy i love at freo

I am not so sure that Barlow will suffer the 2nd year blues, mainly because he is a mature age player.  Generally the 2nd year blues is for 18-19 year olds.  Barlow has been playing VFL for 4 years or so.

It all depends on his price, leg and pre-season form as to whether I will pick him

mature age wuldnt really matter too much as he's only 22
VFL to AFL is still a huge step and to go with that pressures on a broken leg...if it was a different injury itd be ok but legs are difficult, nathan brown never got back to his best

valkorum

Nathan Brown was also 30'ish and on his way out anyway (he was a good player in a poor Richmond side).

Voss broke his leg early in his career and look at him.

As I said I think it all comes down to his price, his leg and his pre-season form (training)

chrisuzz

like valk was saying we are just going to have to wait and see
