True Alex,  my point is that all things considered, Geelong have a better chance. No doubt Freo have had a great season. There's no denying though that their form is slightly down due mainly to injuries to some important players.
It was a gutsy win against Hawthorn last week, and the belief they got from that will make them even harder to beat this week, but they are a different side away from Subie.

I dont understand how everyone says we had a 'gutsy' win over Hawks.  We led from start to finish.  That's not gutsy, that is in control and we won with our 5th goal post only playing 1 quarter in the ruck.

I am not disillusioned to the fact we are playing Geelong, who are without a doubt the best team of the last 3 years (by quite a margin).

I am confident that our boys can put up a good showing and if things fall in to place (in Freo's favour) then we are capable of winning this game.  I was suprised as hell last night on AFL360 to hear Robbo/Whately actually did some decent research and said what I have been saying for quite a while.  Freo actually play reasonably well against Geelong - even when we were shower.

Only 1 more sleep - cant wait.... BRING IT ON

I would have much more faith in Freo if Sandi wasn't so obviously injured.

For Freo to beat Geelong they need him tearing the relatively weak Geelong rucks apart and I'm not sure that is going to happen. I wish them all the best all the same.

Call it whatever you like Valky, it was a gutsy win because they were hard at the ball and the man in possession and forced Hawthorn to turn it over because of the applied AND implied pressure they exerted.
Are you getting nervous, you've been very testy this week.

Freo need to keep working as a team as they have all year. If they have to rely on a few players we will lose like we always have in the past. We have 2 of the best players in the comp and have always tried to rely on them to win.  It doesn't work like that - if only a few stand up we will get flogged
