Summary
As you can see, Presti is a very bad SC scorer. The main reason for this is that he is a very defensive key backmen for the Pies, one of the best key defenders today. Looking at his stats, he looks like he is a complete spud, and well... he is (in SC). So why would anyone want to pick him? I'll tell you why. Although he is a very bad scorer, he plays nearly every week, and is most likely going to be very cheap, so he'd be very good at warming your bench with the big E next to his name.

The Crystal Ball
Based on last year's magic number

Price: $212,440
Position: DEF

A little bit more expensive then his final price in 2010, you'd think he'd drop price.

Decision:

For me it will depend on the draft. We will need to see some good quality backmen to not pick Presti, but I would not start with him as he is a little overpriced, but he is still cheap. The questions are, is he too much and will there be other options?

His price looks tasty but is it worth buying him instead of a Rookie?

Hands down my 10th backman :P.

I will likely downgrade one of my Defender cash cows to him mid year when he drops to below 150k.

Q, you missed the Std Deviation which is 14.88. Based on that he's the most consistent player that's been analysed so far...

On that, he may as well be a lock!! :D

no chance of being my team, there looks like there are heaps of good forwards and mids in this years draft so my 10th back will probably be the cheapest fwd/back or a mid/back and put goddard/hodge in the middle

Considering him for a bench position plays most weeks good cover 8)

luv presti as great full back for the mighty pies but "supercoach dreamteam"????? HHHHHEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLL NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! Geez what are you people thinking

I can see the slight positive in picking him as cheap bye coverage.. but hes one player you can pretty much guarantee wont increase in price (if he does, it'll be minimal).  The man is goin' to be 33years old and only managed 13games this year.  Think just how annoyed would you be after you've picked him only to find he's missing several weeks off at the old folks home.. just when you need him the most??.

Wouldnt you rather take a punt on another actual 1st year player who may dramatically skyrocket earning you valuable $$$ over the coarse of the season ..  rather than 10-40 points a few times a year .. ?

I'm prolly gonna wait and sus out the bye situation .. then pick fresh potentials from teams who dont share the same bye position. (5rounds with 3teams having byes).

Presti's got one year left in him. Could be his break out....

Well, I was wrong! He's gone :(

I feel it is going to be a much more competitive year next year with the nuff nuff's not being ABLE to select Presti :(

I think Supercoach should honour Presti in some way, any thoughts?

Some sort of naming rights perhaps?
