Yeah....see this is my problem. I have too many MID only players I want to fit in, particularly the cheap up and comers.

But Goddard is a standout in DEF.

Decisions Decisions.
Put him in the backs, more guns are available to lead the mids. Goddard could lead the backs for you like antman said.

antman

Mate I wan't goddard leading the league not just the backs!! ;D

lol mind the language.. give it a rest. they are all theories; then again u could start with Gibbs in the backs then upgrade someone with money made to Goddard in future... we want him, dont have to start him

Barlow 21

Should be a lock in every team in either the middle or the backline.

diddley

has become the first player i pick nowadays. everyone else falls around him as far as im concerned.

Goddard is currently in my mids and I'm deciding whether to back him in?  ;)

LOL  ;D Cheeky DamenS - but what I mean he has allowed me atm to have Hurn and Drummond in my backline. If one or both of them plays poorly in the NAB or not at all then Godz will move to the backline.

I have God, Drummond and Hurn all in my backline and it seems fine. :)

That's ideal for me, hoping to do that if prices dictate it do-able and I can retain the rest of my structure.

I'm thinking of a team including Drummond, Adcock, Grimes, Higgins, Gray, Chapman, Vince, McLean and Xavier Clarke ... I'm going to call it the "Talented All-Injureds" ...  ;)

I am definitely worried about Vince's immediate future, his knee op recovery is not going to schedule. >:(
Good luck with that side  :D

DamenS

Yeah - if I really did it it would be VERY interesting ... but my days of being willing to "pull my hair out" during a season to accommodate a pre-season bargain priced injury risk are well and truly over now ... having said that, one or two (maybe even 3) of those players will probs get a run for me - not Drummond though (burnt a few times already) !
