AFL Draft Based EPL Fantasy Game: Squad Rules

We need to discuss how the squad works. We know that there is no Salary Cap, and that you need 15 players, no more, no less. But what I wanted to know is how many players you need from each position, you can't just say 3,3,3 as then everyone will just stock up on the Midfielders.

Also, should there be a formation everyone must play, or can everyone fiddle around with it?

Easiest way to do it is just keep it as simple as possible so just using EPL system. So 2 GK's, 5 DF's, 5 MF's, 3 ST's. You can then set any formation you want, but you must have at least 3 defenders

i'd say like the premier league:
2 keeps
5 backs
5 mids
3 fwds

and you must have at least 3 def and 3 mids in your starting team

Not really. There are still going to be great players considering only 8 teams are in ;).

Maybe for round 2 we have the order reversed. Then round 3 the cycle starts all over again. This will make it more fairer for those who are at the bottom end of the draw. This is what happened with the Fantasy NFL draft. Made sure the teams weren't unfairly balanced in the favor of one over another.

This would mean benjy would have pick 8 and 9. Rob would have pick 1 and 16 then 17 and so on.
