Nah hes a gun and been training the house down and is ready made player. 99% chance of playing rd 1. Totally defeats the purpose of my arguement but should become first rookie to debut in rd 1 since kerr in 01 or 02

Hawka

Yer heard that as well joshy he will debut rnd 1 permitting injry

juzzyj

Yeah i heard the same , what a joke they should be playing all the kids and giving them game time. Who else will they play ? Nicoski and all these other old goats fair dinkum !

pablo

Eagles dont like to rush with their big fellas and im never confident in woosha giving youngsters a go early. Shep and stevens were great examples last year...played some very good wafl games and seniors were losing and still coudlt crack it early

This all makes no sense to me

1. its to early to decide if he will be playing or not without any match practice
2. Gaff is a gun but at 78kg i wouldnt say he is a 'ready made' player. sure he is talented and will get games but there is A LOT of work for him to do to be a good afl player.
3. Im no eagles supporter but didnt M.Brown debut rd 1 2007? and he is a kpp

Mitch Brown in 07 debuted in round 1... he is also a KPP (a big fella)
tho wouldnt call Darling a big fella at 190cm, but Woosha does not play his youth early, if he does I dont see him playing every game

Joshy11

Sorry forgot bot browny :/ and i hope they play him straight away

Boomz

If the eagles are really making that call this early then it's obvious why the club s a shambles.

I dont see why he wont Worsfold said late last season he will play his youngsters more often now
