They actually don't really have an awesome defence. They have a well organised midfield which boosts their defence a lot. Cech is also prob the best goalkeeper in the EPL.  Terry isn't what he used to be and they just lost their best defender in Carvalho. They conceded almost all their goals from set pieces and getting owned in the counter because of Slow Terry.

My next pick is a defender.. thinking my thoughts on strikers can hold for a couple more or 1 more..

he is a chelsea defender he may not be the best choice with Undrafted maybe coming in to take his place...

but chelsea defenders are good they keep clean sheets ;D

He is a left wing. But is capable of playing a left back. Malouda and Cole are in terrific form so he has found a place on the bench.

I take him because he is a world class player. He has the ability to play Left Wing, as a number 10 or as a second striker. Because of this, he has able to both score and assist regularly when he plays. He will still play a lot of games even though for the time being, he has found a position on the bench.
