a definite upgrade target - you get to watch how he's going at GC and how they play him and i can't see him having a massive price increase from what he will likely be at the start

At the end of last season, I said I would go Ablett free in 2011. I am going to follow that.

It hasen't been confirmed yet, they said they don't know anymore yet then they said they can speculate eg. Gary Ablett won't be MPP like some people have said.

They should have really said he won't in their opinion

Ablett out of NAB Cup

GOLD Coast's skipper and prized recruit Gary Ablett could miss the entire pre-season competition.

Ablett will not be available for the Gold Coast's NAB Cup matches against Greater Western Sydney and Sydney on February 19 and could miss more pre-season action due to concerns over his groin.

Gold Coast football manager Marcus Ashcroft told a Melbourne newspaper that the club believed Ablett's injury was not serious but needed time to heal.

"From the diagnosis we have been given, there are no long-term ill effects," Ashcroft said.

"We need to give him some match practice but it's undetermined when."

Ashcroft indicated that Ablett would not be seen under match conditions for at least four weeks.

"We will just see how he goes in the next month or six weeks.

"We want to get him some match conditioning but whether it's against an opponent or against us, we are not sure at this point."

Yep hopefully is still sore in RND 2 so that we can upgrade to him
