Left field Gibbs idea...

Given Gibbs has a bye in R23, is it worth trading him in the mids for a premium midfield to cover the Ablett hole for the week?

Just an idea, haven't fully thought it through

Unusually I'm not sure you have Ossie.

Why be at lessor strength in round 23 because you trade someone in with a bye.

I see Ablett is also in doubt for the Banana Cup - two weeks out at this crucial time of year for me is a trade out. Finally I may welcome Pendles into my midfield.

Ablett himself said he is hoping to be right for the last 4 games, meaning he thinks he will play in the banana cup. Where is the source that says he is in doubt for next week???

Apparently he hurt it two weeks ago and will only miss this one game. I wonder if he was playing anyone else other than geelong in geelong that he would play?

I also suspect he will want to play next week given it is now Qlds Local Derby Suns v Lions.
