Hey guys,
I know it's early but now is probably the best time for this. This is just a place where you can post who you think will have a big year in 2011 based on their fantastic performances in 2010.
So yeah, basically post the players to look out for in 2011 :)

Mine include:
Jarryd Blar (Coll)
Rory Sloane (Ade)
Daniel Connors (Rich)
Andrew Swallow (Nrth) - I know he's already an established player, but he was the 12th best midfielder and only 5,000 people had chosen him, which is completely ridiculous! He's close to a lock for me in 2011. He's only going to get better, much like North Melbourne themselves.
Daniel Cross (WBD) - Same as Swallow (Minus bulldogs improving)
Michael Hurley (Ess)
Taylor Hunt (Gee) - Won't be as big, but is one to look out for
Callum Wilson (WCE)

What are your thoughts on my selections?
What are you selections on players set to have a big year?
Any premiums you knew you should have locked but didn't?

+ Josh Fraser (Who will be playing by himself in his backyard)

Lots about 2011 in the strategy section.

Torress

i like the look of leigh adams from north, not sure if i'll say he is a lock but he has the tools.
mitch morton as a forward could be worth a look if he runs thru the midfield.

its a fair chance that my entire bench next year will be from the gold coast!!

Fev will be dirt cheap @ around 250k with the 50 average he holds this year, good midpricer - get fit fev!!

Blair would be fighting for a spot in next year's lineup. Prefer Beams or Sidebottom instead. Both seem much better than him on the field and can kick a few goals.
Alot of Adelaide young guns will be looked at closely next year. Pretty sure a few of them will step up to the plate next year.
Connors will have more room since Cousins is gone. Sharing the midfield with Martin and Cotchin could be good. Martin will get the tag (or Dlids depending if he mopves back there).
Hurley is a KPP. Will really depend on how the Bombers grow next year and the progress of the other forwards we have coming through.
Not too keen on Taylor or Wilson but who knows this early. Taylor would be fighting for a spot almost every week though.

Swallow and Cross are pretty different. Cross has been consistent for year but never gets attention due to Cooney, Gilbee and Gia. Boyd was the same until his STUNNING last year. Swallow gets alot of tackles and not as high possession gainer as many other midfielders. That's why people don't take notice of him.

I had Swallow, Simpson and Green in my midfield this year along with Boyd. Ended up getting rid of all 3 for Nicky Dal and Selwood :-\. Got to stick with my gut next year and take the risk.

I think Blair will improve, but wouldn't pick him due to the 2nd year player rule

Alex7089

ossie is right.
For the few that wen against this golden rule got burned by Rich and the like...Palmer last year....

Barlow 21

Shattered I missed out on Kieren Jack, I had him briefly last season and was considering him this year along with Wells for my mid priced player...

...I went with masten  >:(

Jack still has improvement in him though

Before the season I told somebody taggers don't score well and there was better options than JACK. Hopefully he didn't listen to me and got Jack.

Sorry whoever that was :(.

benjy251090

lol, kornes is really only the decent tagger that scores, carrazzo and rok started and they only got average scores. jones, ling and kerr also dont score highly either so its not your fault to whoever you said no too, but yes, they dhould wish they got him :P

tferrier18

Rockliffe tags and scores well...

There are definitely others out there who do alright from tagging. But you can do better in most cases

tferrier18

Plus, Jack's role changed so he wasn't tagging for the whole season.
