+1 Ossie - with all the rotations these days it is a first 22, not a first 18. Teams start different players on the bench to throw off taggers, change opposition tactics etc.

Another point to note, when was the last time the 4 players named on the bench on Thurs actually started on the bench? I could be wrong but I don't think it happens very often - if at all
