With Cooney injured, I have to use my last trade. Who should I get though?
My midfield is: Ablett, Selwood, Boyd, Mitchell, Stanton, Cooney. (Harwood, JKT)
Anyone for $366,200 or less. I'm absolutely stumped and would love a million opinions!

Also, with some possible forward line issues (if Pav, ROK or Brown doesn't play), I may have to make a choice.
1. Trade the non-playing forward and play Harwood for Cooney.
2. Trade Cooney and play D.Stewart or Jaensch for forward.
3. Trade Cooney for DPP, switch with Pav/ROK (wouldn't work for Brown) and play Harwood in midfield.
Hopefully I won't have to do that but opinions on that wouldn't hurt.

Thanks guys! You've been great all season. Please help me win my shower league (after Cooney cost me my good one).

mate its the grand final, the last game of the season you may as well use your trade.

personally i would go for Hodge (if he isnt in your backs) Gibbs or Deledio. in my opnion in that order

hope this helps :)

LaHug

oh, definitely trading, but i mean that i might have to trade in the forward line instead...
already got hodgey, gibbs or lids could be good though (if it weren't for the hamstring, i'd be tempted to go benny cuz for his last game)

elephants

yeah benny would be an alright pick as he is going for his last hurrah. however he does have the dodgy hammy so... :(

alrighty sorry i didnt read properly. harwood against arguably the best lock down team in the comp? i dont think so. if jaensch holds his spot he could be a possibility. dont like the chances of D stewart scoring well :P . i think.. look at who your opponent has on their benches. if i had to choose i would most probably go with the first option as harwood has showed he can score well even when brissy have their backs against the wall (82 vs melbourne and 70 vs adelaide)

really its up to you but i would go with the first option.

hop this time i can help ;)

if ur fwds play 2 guys to look at r Andrew Embley fresh off 138 and James McDonald 116 in his final game could be worth a peek ;)

I would say Griffen - has had some crackers this year and is playing a rubbish Essendon team.

2nd choice Brad Green against North and 3rd choice Bryce

Uncle

yeah griffen has potential to score big ones, so does gibbs. Depends what you're looking for... the sensible choice is david mundy... firstly because he plays friday night, so if you wait til final teams are up you KNOW for certain that he won't be a late withdrawal whereas you wouldnt know for griffen, green etc. Secondly.... very underrated dter this year! The stats speak for themselves, in his past 11 matches he has scored 6 hundreds (probably better than just about anyone in the price range, except perhaps green?) but the other bonus is that in these past 11, not only does he have 6 hundreds but he is yet to score under 80

i wouldnt be touching any eagle v cats.
you might have to wait until the teams are out to see who is playing and make a decision from there!

Gibbs also plays Friday night... And, looking at numbers, he's the man. 106 against Freo this year, 142 and 140 last year (the 140 was at Subiaco). My worry is, will he be tagged? And his recent form is awful!

With Deledio, he got 108 against PA last time they played, but does he get the Kane tag? Or will he be allowed to run free? I'm guessing that the Tigers should thump the Power with Ben's last game. (Could be wrong though...) Has also had a recent form slump BUT got 99 last week and could be back.

Mundy looks pretty decent on recent form and scored 90 against the Blues earlier this year.

Do I play Strijk for Hodge? Or should I look to make my trade there and play Harwood for Cooney?

Or do I make my trade in the forward line for Brown? Or will D.Stewart/Jaensch be good enough?

LaHug

I have to leave the house in an hour and would like some more opinions! So... BUMP!

As Uncle said, Mundy is the safe option and he is coming back from a week's rest. If you think you have a slightly better team than your opponent then I would definitely go him.

If you have an inferior team then I would risk it with Griffen, with Gibbs the second choice foe me but he has been playing quite defensively hence the low scores lately

LaHug

I guess Mundy it is! Anyone know when the final teams for tonight are out? Don't want to trade too early!

Nah, I meant the teams for tonight's game...
