Congratulations Sammy Wright,on getting this week's rising star nomination.

Really picked up the pace of the game in the 2nd half of the year,reminds me of a young Malcolm Blight.

Big call i know,but this kid is special.

Lot of young talent at the Roos with Basti, Cunnington, Ziebell, Wright, etc. I'd expect the Roos, Dees, Tigers, GC and GWS to be all top 8 around 2015.

I like Sam Wright, he looked good up forward later in the season. He seemed like he started to feel he belonged. Much much better than Daisy.This guy will be a future Norm Smith medalist. Yes i am overly optimistic.

yes sam wright looks like a good young player. IMO he has2 find some consistency in his game. once he does that he will be one of kangas better players.

But I do see what you are saying. Daisy had to learn how to gut run and to gain control of his youthful over developed upper body. Daisy was a bit top heavy and ran like so, Wright is similar and will learn that gut run style as the Kangas shape their rolling mids (Swallow, Anthony, Zieball) as the Pies have done with Daisy and their rolling mids (Pendles, Didak, Swan).
Daisy though is not a future leader of the club, Sam Wright may be ???
