Are you serious? That just sucks!! He was showing some real promise :(

North Melbournes Finest

Gunston's a good player in my eyes as well.

roo boys!

Real shame for the Crows there :(

Feel for you. Gunston was showing good promise and looked to be a good fit in your forward line,  Go home factor is something that crops up with most young blokes and it is up to clubs to ensure they manage it to the best of their abilities.  Brisbane and Sydney have been wrestling this problem for years. They have been reasonably successful with most players and in Brisbane's case this year resigning Rich and Rockliff.

+1 with the Port boys added to this comment as well.

Crows hierarchy will tomorrow try and talk Jack 'Norman' Gunston into staying, with close sources saying there is little hope  :'(

Shaun Rehn has publicy said that he knows of two clubs already circling, Hawthorn and North Melbourne, with the strongest claim coming from Arden St in a swap for Levi Greenwood. This would replace the departing Michael Doughty and open the forward line more for the re-signed Walker.

Thanks for the info roost.
So do you have any info about the Tippett situation? Will we be looking at trading him this year or not?

I was hoping that we could get him as soon as you said he wants to return to Melbourne!! But for Levi? :-\ We do have an abundance of midfielders, but without Brady, Levi is our number one tagger and a real tough nut.

Yep certainly looks like he is guaranteed to go back to Vic. Hopefully we can get a good trade this time
