L Anthony out A Otten in (think he is a solid stayer at this stage)
A Browne out J White in.

Both these changes are sideways moves on my bench but are purely cash cow moves.

I am sticking with Hentshel on the bench in forwards(no price change to effect)

And Hill, Hurley on the bench with Petrenko and Cheney on the field in the backs (relying on Harveys press release that Hill will play, gives him 3 games to be elligable for a rise all be it small)

I see this as the only two moves that will assist in generating cash out of the price changes next week, others can be sorted later

Is this smart or wasting two trades for an unknown cash injection?

Will have 28 out of my 30 playing with solid rookies

I am looking to win league only and want to get Ablett and a premium Ruck into the team in the next 6-8 weeks

17 trades left if I make these 2 tonight

Dees for the Draft

Two very similar trades to what I'm considering.

They're obviously to generate cash, and if you're scoring well enough and don't have injuries to cover for, it's a good idea.

bluebaggas

why would you change a bench ruck?
unless both of your rucks arnt playing then that is the dumbest thing ive ever heard
you dont ever downgrade them to upgrade someone else coz there prices dont go high enough
he had one good game coz they were versing hawthorn but in the end his price will be around 200k-250k

dont do the white trade but go ahead with the otten one coz his price will get much higher

tony73

mmmmm good advice, im just a little concerned about rucks as i went light, tippet and luerenburg, jacobs, browne!!

I am very strong over the park and went with this theory of weak rucks bu a little unsure now!

thoughts?

tony73

PS Swans have a weak Lions ruck this week!

bluebaggas

not sure what to do then
i have cox and hille so i dont have that problem

Cool9

Changing the colour of your bench warmer (Browne for White) won't strengthen your ruck anyway.

tony73

true cool9 like I said in the original post the trade was only going to be about a cash cow and browne wont move. If white goes up to between $200k - $250k isn't it worth a trade?

BlueBoy

I firstly must say you fell massively into the trap of picking people that play in round one.  Browne?  What were you thinking!!!

He has to go, he was horrible against Jacobs and it was his first game too.  Not to mention the fact that he probably won't get a game for ages.  So at best he'll get you up to 185k.  Jesse White on the other hand should get you some cash for other places!

Anthony for Otten is one im considering, however im deciding whether its worth saving another 40k and getting robinson?

tony73

blue boy, you hit the nail on the head, im a first yearer and dont know how i over looked white and spencer. Browne was a tip from my one eyed tiger supporter!!!

Im backing otten in for 4 reasons, consistent scores, will play a string of games, is playing Freo and i think Robo will be squeezed out! to early to go with z man and breames.

I only have $242k in the bank and want the best cows available ASAP, others need 3 games under their belt to change.

BlueBoy

I totally agree.  I'm looking at the next 3 weeks for Adelaide and Carlton (im deciding between Robinson and Otten).  Carlton have a slightly easier draw, but i get the feeling Otten might be able to hold that 80 average.
