Dont be alarmed, i have not heard anything.. but with many people looking to trade the bald knight into their team this week, some more discussion is required on his chances of being rested.

Obviously those without him want his scores, but trading him in this week, only for him to be rested next week, would be disastrous...

Surely the Cats will be looking to rest some players next week against the Eagles at Skilled Stadium for obvious reasons. So who thinks Chappy will be rested?

No. If they planned to rest Chappy, they would've taken his suspension this week, and have had less carry-over points for the finals.

If they rest him next week, it is a HUGE mistake on their part.

they wont rest him also i need him for sc finals which i thought i would of been kicked out not going on for 10 days but im still fighting

dockerone

I think it was this week or never. It would be too risky resting players the week before finals IMO

any coach who does that should be sacked!

I don't have Chappy and I don't think they will rest him. I think they need him tonight with some other players feeling a little under the weather during the week. Thommo is too smart to rest him next week too.

They probably wont but it is dangerous territory, we've all seen it before.

I thought of bringing him in, but he is not in the best of scoring form anyway so I went with Didak.

BratPack

Hmmm rest against a fired up Carlton or the Wooden Spoon West Coast?

Yeah I'm still convinced he's not playing next week

I see it the other way.  If they were gonna rest him it would be against a fired up Carlton (more chance of injury in this game) and then play an easy game against the wooden spoon West Coast.

I didn't think he would get rested anyway but this is a very good point.

some good points there, but didnt chappy only get a reprimand in the first place?

coaches may have learnt from the saints resting mistakes last year too

thatguy

i wont be surprised to see that disease general soreness affect the cats next week.

he WONT be rested next week. guarantee. unless injury.

JDC!

Hope he doesn't rest next week as I am considering bringing him in this week. You wouldn't think he would rest next week considering the finals are the following week.
