Lake in doubt?

I keep hearing stories about Lake being in doubt with a hip, yet I have seen nothing to confirm.  I know he had a stinker last week and I'm not sure if this was injury related.

Does anyone have any news as I want to draft him in but obviously not if he is in doubt.

apparently he hurt his hip in warmup b4 the game last week but still played so cant be too serious

Unfortunately Cruise, all anyone has is apparently's. He is carrying an injury and Rocket listed him as 50/50 on Wed. It would be a risk to trade him in as obviously the fact that he is carrying an injury makes him more likely to be a late withdrawal but we won't know til this afternoon at best or before the game at worst.

Personally I would look elsewhere but obviously up to you

Thanks, guys. Thinking I'm gonna have to go Sam Gilbert instead in a team I'm looking after. The bloke wanted me to put Lake in, but don't know if I can trust him with no emg to cover. Also, with Fyfe out means I have to hold on to P Davis as he's playing and emg him, so when I trade for Roo, Chappy or Dids the team will have spent all trades but will have $100,000 still in the bank prob. Aaargh. Whatta waste  :'(

Good point. Still thinking about putting Lake in, will spew if he smashes out a blinder against the Swans. His last game against them was very good.

Thanks Docker, it is all still second hand but it sounds like that is all that is available. It was merely a Malceski upgrade so perhaps it is not worth it.

I'll pour the money into the Pav, Higgins, Gumbleton side of things instead.

Team's backline has Goddard, Enright, Gilbee, Carrazzo, Waters, Shaw and Goodwin (who needs to go for Lake or Gilbert) with Maguire and Webberley out on the benches, so no emg. Risk Lake or go Gilbert?  :-\

@ Cruise - I would agree with that option as the high end forwards are all in good form and have good games to come so whoever you don't have out of Chappy, Buddy, Roo, Didak, Boomer, Sylvia, Gia or Goodes are better options than Lake  :D

@ Cam as you have no cover you would have to say Gilbert. Personally i wouldn't risk it with Lake. What about Hodge? If you don't have him in the mids then he should smash it against the Dockers B Side

Cheers, Dockerone. Should have mentioned Hodgey was in the mids, love those MPP's. Think it'll have to be Gilbert  :)
